As part of its ‘New Footpath Program’, the Northern Beaches Council is proposing to build a new footpath along Hudson Parade between the northern end of Delecta Avenue right through to Taylors Point Wharf in Clareville and it is inviting all residents to Have Your Say on the proposal.

Twenty years ago the Port Macquarie Base Hospital opened. New hospitals open every now and again but this time it was different. Avalon Market Day is the largest community market day on the Northern Beaches. The main streets of Avalon Beach village and Dunbar Park come alive with amazing music, a fantastic array of market stalls selling fashion, jewellery and crafts as well as gourmet food stalls.
This is the last sitting week for State Parliament before the politicians head off home for their summer holidays. We need to give them something to think about, namely that the people of the Northern Beaches are angry. We have been robbed of easy access to vital health services.
